Some more on Stone Roses

This is coming along quite nicely. :) Only one problem - I'm noticing that the white looks a little yellow or dirty in some spots. It doesn't show up in the picture as much as it does in real life, but you can kinda see it toward the bottom of the white section that is stitched. I always try to keep my hands really clean when I stitch, and I've never had this issue before when stitching large sections of white. :/ I might try and wash it, but I'm a little nervous that the silks will bleed, but at least they are not red. I think I'll wait to get a bit more done before I decide whether she really has to have a bath or not.

Oh no! I hope the stains come out. What brand silks are you using?

She looks gorgeous - you could take a length of silk, put it on a white cloth, and run warm water over it to see if it bleeds?

It looks beautiful! I agree - test some of the silks to see how badly they bleed just so that you are prepared if you decide you have to wash it. I guess you could just frog the white that looks yellowish?? I have to admit that once I super diluted bleach and dabbed some on some white with a q-tip. Then I used qtips with just water to kind of rinse it... It did the trick and as far as I could tell, there wasn't any damage.
